Audit Templates
An audit template is the list of sections and questions you work through when you run an audit. Your club can use the ready-made templates marked "Platform" and make its own. Templates are for club admins. Find them in the menu under Audits.
Common actions
- 1
Make a template: Press "+ New template". Give it a name and a description. Give the first section a title, then type each question and choose its type. Press "+ Add question" for more questions and "+ Add another section" for more sections. Press "Save template".
- 2
Choose the answer type: Each question can be "Yes / No / N/A", "Yes / No", "Pass / Fail", "Text answer" or "Score (1โ5)". A "Yes / No / N/A" question shows as Compliant, Non-Compliant or N/A in the audit.
- 3
Help the auditor: Tick "Required" for questions that must be answered, and add a guidance note to explain what to look for.
- 4
Change the order: Use the arrows next to a section or question to move it up or down.
- 5
Edit your own template: Press "Edit" on its card, make your changes and press "Save changes".
- 6
Run an audit from it: Press "Start audit โ", then choose the template on the New audit page.
- 7
Delete a template: Press "Delete", then "Confirm delete". A template that any audit has used cannot be deleted.
Platform templates
Templates marked "Platform" are shared by every club and kept up to date by SentinelHQ. You can run audits from them, but not change them. To change one for your club, make your own template with the questions you need.
Editing a template in use
A completed audit keeps the questions and answers it was completed with, whatever you change later. An audit in progress shows your changes. A question you remove disappears from new audits, but stays on any audit that has already answered it, with its answer.
๐ก Tip
If a template changes a lot, for example a new set of regulations, think about making a new template instead. Your audit history then stays easy to compare, template by template.
