QR scanner
Each asset has a QR label. Scan it to open the asset straight away, out on the course or in the workshop. You can scan from inside ClubSentinel or with your phone's own camera.
Common actions

Scan from ClubSentinel: On a phone, press "Scan" in the bar at the bottom of the screen. On a tablet, press the scan button at the bottom of the menu. Allow camera access, then point the camera at the label.

After you scan in ClubSentinel: The asset opens. If it is active, you can mark it inspected straight away: choose when it is next due and press "Confirm".

Scan with your phone's camera: Point the camera at the label and open the link. The asset's public page opens, with no sign-in needed. It shows the asset's details and when its next inspection is due.

Log an inspection or a repair: On the public page, press "Log Inspection" or "Report Maintenance". The form opens with the asset filled in. You need to be signed in.

Print labels: In Assets, open an asset and press "Print Label", or press "🖨 Print Labels" to print labels for every asset in the list.
If the camera does not start
If you see "Camera permission denied", allow camera access for ClubSentinel in your phone's settings and press "Try Again". Scanning is not available on a computer.
Who can see the public page
Anyone who scans the label can see the asset's public page: its name, category, status, location, department, manufacturer, model, who it is assigned to and its next inspection date. Only signed-in members of your club can change it.
💡 Tip
Marking an asset inspected only moves its next inspection date. To record what you found, press "Log Inspection" on its public page instead.
