Inspections

Schedule and record routine inspections of areas, equipment, and processes across the club. Each inspection record captures the inspection type, the result (pass / advisory / fail / not-applicable), detailed findings, required follow-up actions, and the next due date.

Common actions

  1. 1

Record an inspection: tap "+ Add Inspection" and select the inspection type, the area or asset inspected, and the result โ€” Pass, Advisory, Fail, or N/A. Add detailed findings and any follow-up actions required.

  2. 2

Set the next due date: always enter the next due date before saving. This is how ClubSentinel calculates which inspections are upcoming or overdue.

  3. 3

Resolve a failed inspection: open the failed record and add a follow-up note once the issue has been corrected. Change the status to Resolved โ€” this removes it from the overdue count and improves your compliance score.

  4. 4

Filter by result or type: use the Result filter (Pass / Advisory / Fail) and Type filter to find specific records quickly. The overdue filter shows only inspections past their due date.

  5. 5

Add a photo: in the inspection form, attach a photo to document a finding. This is particularly useful for failed inspections โ€” a before/after photo pair shows remediation clearly.

  6. 6

Scan from an asset QR code: if inspecting a tagged asset, scan its QR code and tap "Log Inspection" โ€” the asset name is pre-filled so you can complete the form faster.

๐Ÿ’ก Tip

Inspections with a result of Advisory or Fail that have no follow-up action or next due date count as overdue in your compliance score. Always set both before closing the record, even if the fix is weeks away.
