Compliance Register
The Compliance Register is a list of the legal and other requirements your club must meet, such as a fire risk assessment or food hygiene rules. For each one you record the law it comes from, who is responsible, how often it is reviewed, its status and where the evidence is kept. It does not count towards your Records Score.
Common actions
- 1
Add a requirement: Press "+ Add Item". Choose the Area and describe the Requirement. Add the Legislation / Regulation (for example Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005), the Responsible Person, the Review Frequency and the dates. Press "Add Item".
- 2
Let the next review fill itself in: Choose a Review Frequency. If Next Review is empty, it is filled in from the Last Review date, or today, plus the frequency.
- 3
Record your evidence: In "Evidence / Document Reference", say where the proof is kept, for example the name of a document in ClubSentinel or a folder in the office. It is a text box, not a file upload.
- 4
Change the status: Open an item. Under "Update Status", press "β Compliant", "Action Required", "Non-Compliant" or "Under Review". "β Compliant" also moves the Next Review date on from the Last Review date. To set N/A, press "Edit".
- 5
Find what needs attention: Press a tile at the top: "Non-Compliant", "Action Required" or "Reviews Overdue". You can also use the status tabs and the Area list.
- 6
Delete an item: Admins can press "Delete" on the item's row, then confirm.
Statuses
There are five: Compliant, Action Required, Non-Compliant, Under Review and N/A. A review is overdue when its Next Review date has passed, unless the item is N/A.
In your reports
The Records Summary report on the Reports page lists the items that need attention and the full register.
π‘ Tip
When you mark an item Compliant, update the Last Review date first. The next review is worked out from it, so an old Last Review date can give a Next Review date that has already passed.
