Audits

Conduct structured internal audits against configurable templates — course safety audits, clubhouse inspections, COSHH store audits, and any other area you need to assess formally. The module scores each section, records findings and observations, assigns corrective actions, and generates a printable audit report.

Common actions

  1. 1

Start a new audit: tap "+ New Audit", select an audit template, and choose the area or department being audited. The template loads all the questions for that audit type.

  2. 2

Complete each section: work through the questions, selecting Yes / No / N/A for each item. Add observation notes for any items that need explanation, particularly for No answers.

  3. 3

Score the audit: ClubSentinel calculates the score automatically as you answer questions. The overall score and per-section scores are shown in real time.

  4. 4

Assign corrective actions: for any failed items, use the Action Required field to note what needs to be done, who is responsible, and a target completion date.

  5. 5

Submit and generate a report: tap "Submit Audit" when complete. The audit is saved and a printable report is generated — use this for committee meetings, captain's reports, or to show auditors.

  6. 6

Review audit history: open any completed audit from the list to see the full record, scores, findings, and the status of any corrective actions assigned during the audit.

💡 Tip

Run a full course safety audit at the start of each season and a clubhouse safety audit each quarter. A consistent audit trail with improving scores is strong evidence of proactive H&S management — exactly what R&A and England Golf auditors look for.
