Voice capture
In several parts of ClubSentinel you can speak instead of type. You talk, the AI turns what you said into the form, and you check it before it is saved. It works in Chrome and Edge. Your speech is turned into text by the browser, and no sound recording is kept.
Common actions
- 1
Start recording: Press the voice button on the page, such as "Voice" or "Talk instead", then tap the microphone. Allow microphone access if your browser asks.
- 2
Talk naturally: Say what happened, where, who was involved and what needs doing.
- 3
Stop: Tap the microphone again. If you stop talking for about 20 seconds, ClubSentinel counts down and stops. Press "Keep recording" to carry on.
- 4
Check the form: The AI fills in the fields from what you said. Read them, change anything that is wrong, then save. Press "Add more via voice" to add detail.
Where you can use it
Incidents: press "Voice". The incident saves straight away and the AI check runs afterwards. If the AI cannot fill in the details, the incident is saved in your own words. Press "Details not filled in, retry" on its row to try again.
Inspections: press "+ Log Inspection", then "Voice Inspection", and describe your walk round.
Maintenance: press "Voice" and say what needs fixing.
Greens Report: press "Add Voice Note". Notes are saved as you speak them, and the AI writes them up when you finish the report.
Toolbox talks: on the Toolbox Talks page, press "๐๏ธ Record session" after a talk.
Safeguarding concerns (admins): press "Voice". The reporter's own words are kept exactly as spoken and cannot be changed.
If something goes wrong
If your browser does not support voice, ClubSentinel says so. Use Chrome or Edge, or type instead. For everything except incidents, if the AI cannot fill in the form, you see an error and nothing is saved. Record it again, or type it.
๐ก Tip
Speak in full sentences and say the place first, for example "On the 7th tee, a member slipped on wet steps". The AI fills in the form far more accurately than from short phrases.
